I just sent out a sympathy card today and was thinking that I need to re-stock my supply. I plan to CASE yours and also use it for an upcoming SAS.

I used watercolor on one of the cards I made as a template and with another one, I used very vanilla. The very vanilla card gave the tree a nice, crisp look and really made the leaves, etc. brighter. You can use both.:p

nope, you're not weird. I agree that this tree is very appropriate for sympathy cards. It's strong and solid and comforting. I need to make a set of these to have on hand for when the need arises. TFS!

Not weird at all. I just read an article in a stamping magazine (forget which one) that said for sympathy cards any images of nature are perfectly suitable, as nature is calming and healing. And as LovinTX said, the mighty oak is "strong and solid and comforting". This is a Perfect Sympathy card, and I will be CASEing! TFS!!

Nope, not weird. I also tend to gravitate towards this tree for Sympathy (as well as masculine b'days). Good job with the card - I like the background too.
