This is for inspiration challenge67. When I saw the framed inspiration piece all I could think of was a fence looking into a garden. I decided to try my hand at free hand skething and painting everything and to not use any stamps. I started by painting the little odd flowers on the top layer. I drew thick blakc lines between all the flowers to represent the fence and gate. The inspiration piece had copper flowers so I decided to use really rust for my flowers and knew it would work great for the pots in the scene. I sketched out the pots with a rust color marker and then painted with reinker. I hand sketched the strange little growth in the smaller pot with an artist pen. I decided to put a topiary type thing in the bigger pot. I sketched a trunk and painted with caramel reinker. I used my 1/4" sponge dauber and olive to make a circle type image all around over the trunk of the plant. I painted over the circles with celery and olive to fill it in a little. O sponged the ground area and used a mini tip applicator to add green texture to the ground and to make greenery above the ground level. I used a rust colored pen to make the little rust colored flowers in the garden. I decided to cut out a few leaves and a couple of flowers to pop up over the black frame to finish off instead of using ribbon.

I can see how your card is inspired by the inspiration piece, but even more so, very much your own! Your style is lovely, and you did a fabulous painting job here Kittie! TFS!
