This is gorgeous!! Can you tell me what "precious smudged stone" technique is? Is it anything like polished stone. Also, is the outside of the tag paper or paperclay. It looks dimensional, but maybe that is the scan.

Precious Smudged Stone is a technique from a newsletter from www.patstamps.com, where I am learning lots of new tricks!
You emboss an image, and then go over it with a metallic ink pad (kind of smush it around over the image). Then use reinkers and rub 1 or 2 drops over the metallic embossed area. Let dry, then wipe off. I have done it on paper on 2 other images on this site,(Classic Concvertibles and Travels Abroad) and this was done on vellum-only the main tree. The rest was just stamped, sponged, and brayered. It is on paper, no paperclay.
