My DD's b-day today, and this is her card. She's the angel on the right, looking the most shy! That's her personality... shy on the outside, but a real scamp in reality!! lol, still our little angel though!!
Used markers again, to watercolor. I color a little around the inner edges and then quickly grab a wet watercolor brush and blend the color outward. Its faster and easier than true watercoloring, where you have to mix the paint colors yourself. The trick is to do just an inch of color at a time, otherwise the marker dries into the paper making it harder to blend with the water. You gotta be quick!
I sponged blue dye ink around the edges of the main panel, message panel and the card base. (love this challenge, thanks Julia!)
Thanks for looking.

Hi Crissy! Hey, I thought since we've been emailing a bit, I'd take a peek at your gallery. WOW! I will look at each of your cards over the next few days. Your watercoloring is wonderful! I could never use the markers like that. I'm not fast enough. I have to do the "squish the lid" trick using the ink pads. This card is adorable and the story to go with it is sweet. TFS!
