DH isn't into the "Hallmark holidays", so I don't go "all out" for him because it makes him uncomfortabl...don't ask me why...
I did a simple 3 x 3 notecard so that it wasn't much. I did the rock 'n roll technique on the cherry with rose red then real red. The bg is Canvas stamped on rose red w/ real red. The word "embrace" is a free stamp I received from Justrite stamps (I think that's how their name is configurated). In case you don't have any of their stamps, let me warn you: the ink STINKS!!!
The y, o, u were some letter stamps that I bought at Michael's. I don't remember the company. Ribbon was also something I picked up once at Michael's.
I had fun making it! It was my first time doing the rock 'n roll technique.
Oh! I also did the envie to coordinate. That stamp & the sentiment on the inside were from a set that was at Michael's for $1.

Crap! I forgot to mention the magic mesh...sheesh...I've had that stuff for over a year & this was the first time I ever used it!

Karen~How ever sweet is this?!! Lots of nice texture with Linen bg, and the mesh. I like the combination of reds with black and white, and that little heart stamp is just adorable! TFS
