I did alter the directions a bit - see my little "view from above" pic insert up there.
Rose layer: I used the large rose stamps from the (retired) 2-step Cottage Rose set. I allowed the first lighter layer (Rose Romance) to dry before stamping over with Baroque Burgundy (second layer). Then I embossed (the 2nd layer) with clear powder to give it that subtle shimmer. I used the back of the top layer as a mask and sponged Old Olive around the rose.
Top layer: I don't have a scalloped punch (would love one one day!), so I *gently* "folded" the top, pink layer in half and cut out a semi circle with my scalloped edge scissors to make the scalloped opening.
The pink cardstock is stamped in Rose Romance with Canvas...then I wheeled Whirly-Twirly in Baroque Burgundy over it. I sponged the edges with Forest Foliage and a silver pigment ink.
The sentiment is embossed on a paint chip! I aso used the scalloped scissors to round the corners. Oh, and I used a tiny hole puncher to make the ribbon slits.
Thanks to the ladies for this challenge! Thank you for looking! =)
