This is a card for the Ways to Use it Challenge 97, to use a background stamp. It is for a sympathy card swap I am in, and I decided to make a card suitable for use as a pet loss card, or perhaps for a sympathy card for a fellow "doggie person".
The dog is stamped in Craft Creamy Caramel, clear-embossed, then rubbed with metallic Rub-Ons to give it a halo effect. (TJ technique, Poppin' Rub-Ons) It is then masked and the mountains overstamped to appear in the background. The Old Olive panel is stamped with a Judikins background stamp, edges torn and distressed, and gold dots embossed on the Certainly Celery layer beneath it.
Thanks for looking!

this is so nice!! Love the sentiment on this. I never know what to say to someone, and usually say that the person will live on in their memories each time they share stories about good times with them. So I love the sentiment.

Maddy- this is awesome! I love the way the dog is in the forefront of the mountains. It truly is a neat card to have as people grieve for their pets and I have not seen a pet sympathy card before. What a precious idea!

Maddy this is a very special card. Love the idea. It validates the feelings of a pet's loss beautifully.
