Love the simplicity of this design, but it just feels like it needs something else. I wasn't sure how faux stitching in black (don't have Night of Navy marker -- yet!) would look. Any suggestions?

I think the faux stitching would be nice around the edges of the card, or possibly around the edges of the flower. Or possibly sponge the edges of the card in the same color as the big blossom. I really like the flower center with the button & sentiment.

The only suggestion I would have, is to use some so saffron paper under the white for a border. Other than that, I agree that simple is better!

I think you could use maybe a bright yellow button or one that makes it look like a brown eyed susan and I think a small butterfly or a bee would be cute with the stitch marks making its flight pattern...Just a thought.To give it more color.Cheri ;-)
