I am struggling with this set. I've had it for three years and can't seem to do something great with it. This is my latest attempt yet I still feel like its missing something. I'd love any suggestions you might have.
Instructions: first I gold embossed the image. With my aquapainters I bleached inside the embossing. After it dried, I colored in with markers.

The gold embossing really stands out. I would have never thought to bleach the dark out so I could add color. You are so cleaver. The vellum "Cloud" is the final touch of perfection here. Need I say more? I think this card is Glorious. (And the true reason for the season.)

Thank you for your kind comments. I think I've figured out what I don't like. I don't like the Bethlehem star above the vellum. I'm going to move it down closer to the manger and put the vellum 'Believe' across the top, only covering stars. Right now the image is chopped up by the vellum. With the star lowered, the image will become one. Thanks for allowing me to think out loud. Wow, I'm glad THAT'S figured out! LOL
