I trimmed the right edge of the card a bit and adhered a strip of the Designer Paper to it in such a way that, when the card is closed, all is aligned.
Used Cranberry Crisp ink to stamp images (snowflake and falling snow from Snowflakes set; "joy" from All-Around Argyle) on Very Vanilla cs; punched with Tag Punch, used piercing tool from Crafter's Tool kit and attached to paper w/brads.
Card base is True Thyme (2006-2007 In Color line).

Thanks for commenting.
It was one of those "happy accidents" trying to a card that I scored wrong. This "mistake" caused me to apply Designer paper and that led me to repeat the pattern.
Then I needed something on which the images would show clearly and wanted to keep the vertical look but without another strip. The tags worked great!

I love tags - they are so easy with the tag punches. My husband kept saying to me as he wrapped the gifts hurry up with the tags but I had to stamp, and ink edges, etc. so he had to wait. But at least he appreciated why they took awhile.
Thanks for the nice comments.
I hope to add more photos but I've received an arror message for the last few I tried to upload. I think they might be too large and so it takes too long to upload.
There are also lots still in the camera to download, crop, etc. so ...

Beautiful tags, are they so much better than store bought ones. If you make them too pretty you might just start keeping them. lol. Great work keep it up!

I love the colors, and all the detail. Sometimes when a card looks simple, when you look closer you can see all the little things that came together so beautifully. I love how so many little touches came together to make a beautiful simple card. Congrats!
