Well, Here she is...my grandma. This is the cover that we made to go with the recipe tags for the book. We used Gram's recipes (she passed away in October), and between my cousins, mom, sis, aunts, SIL's...we each signed up for a recipe tag(s), then swapped them so we each had a part in making the recipe tag book for the others. We used a ring to hook all the tags for each book together, and used fibers on the ring to attach a small kitchen gadget (muffin tin, tea pot, spatula, measuring spoons, etc....they are the same ones used on the covered basket tin in my gallery. I just couldn't get a good scan with it on this tag.)

What a wonderful tribute to your grandma. She is the epitomy of what a fun loving, little, good cook, white haired grandma with glasses should look like. What a fun and rewarding project this was for your family. Something that you all will cherish for years to come. It is nice to see the completed and important cover to the recipe tag book! Happy Saturday!

Beth,
What an inspiration! I was perusing your gallery today. I would like to make one of these for the sisters and daughters of my husbands late Mother. We have a composition book where she handwrote all her favorite recipes. Thanks so much for sharing this!
