This is for the LSC92 challenge to use the word sweet and try to make something with candy. I don't have any candy images at all so I sketched out the box of chocolates. When I was little my parents always got a 5 lb box of Russell Stover's from an uncle that lived out of town. It was something we four girls always looked forward to. So a box of chocolates and candy canes represent my fond childhood memories.
I sketched the box with a brown waterproof artist pen and painted with reinkers. I thought the crimped vellum look like the paper that was always on the top of the box. I used a real red marker to draw several lines across white paper and hand cut the canes so they certainly aren't even or perfect. My mother was a florist and always had old fashioned pine wreaths around the house. I used Wee Watercolor pine and pinecone to make a mini wreath for under the sentiment to complete my little scene. I used creamy caramel and a brush to create the faux wood for the table.

Kittie...Your card is so perfect, I thought your chocolates and candy canes were Jolee's. It is awesome!!!
I had four girls in my family too. Did anyone poke holes in the bottoms to see what kinds the chocolates were? My mother would get so mad at us....we all fought for the caramels.
