This is one of the cards I made for the gift totes I made for the school's PTA give away. They were looking for donations, so I donated two bags with 6 cards total in them, 3 Halloween and 3 Thankgsiving cards, plus envelopes.
For this card I took the confetti cream paper, and sponged all over it with creamy caramel. I cut the front of the card, then took the remaining paper and cut two strips of 1 inch wide by 8-1/2. I stamped on the front of them with basic brown using the dots from background basics, then stamped over that with creamy caramel and the weave stamp from wonderful weaves. I cut the eyes out with the coluzzle circle and companion circle templates. I took the two pieces of 1 inch paper, and fold a very small piece over the back of the card then layed the paper on the card where I wanted it, at the other side I scored lightly then folded it over. The little piece left at the other end I folded over to the back as well. I glued the eyes in where I wanted them, then glued down the paper strips. I dirtied up the twill tape by running it direct to pad on creamy caramel, then tied it to the front. I used my journaler to write eek and boo on the twill tape. I could have used snap stamps, but didn't want to take the time to do that..lol. I cased this idea off of here, so thank you for the idea!
