I made 50 of these for my Christmas cards this year and it was a relatively easy card to make in bulk.
The card base is Always Artichoke. The word "Joy" is stamped in Always Artichoke on the inside of the card. I used the oval punch to punch a window in the card front to see the "Joy" stamped on the inside.
To adhere the Cranberry Crisp oval rings around the window punch out, I used my small Xyron "X" sticker maker. It made the process of sticking those suckers on go very quickly.
Another thing that made the assembly of this card go more quickly was that I created a "punch template" to ensure the oval was punched in the exact same spot on every card.
What I did for the "punch template" was I folded a piece of cardstock (go to Gallery at Splitcoaststampers for a look at the template) and punched the large oval in the desired location. Then, I slid the folded template up onto the bottom of the card front (lining it up with the right hand edge of the card) and used a pencil to mark where I should adhere my Cranberry Crisp oval punched rings. I adhered the rings and then punched out the center with the small oval punch to create the "window". Then, on the inside, I slipped the punch template into place (again lining it up so it was even with the right hand edge) and stamped the word "Joy" in the center. This insured that the word "Joy" would have an accurate placement and could be viewed from the front of the card without any guesswork. It made it very easy for every and quick to correctly place the stamp on every card.
I used the ticket corner punch on the corners of the cardstock of the snowflake.
The snowflake used the "rock and roll" technique. I stamped the snowflake in Mellow Moss ink, and then rolled the edges of the stamp in Cranberry Crisp ink.
There is 3/8" ivory organza ribbon (purchased from PaperMart.com) layered behind the Cranberry Stitched Grosgrain ribbon.
