This one ended up being all about me! Since the challenge was to use both your birthstone colors and beads, I ended making this pretty Denise-centric! LOL! My birthstone is garnet (January), so I used Bravo Burgundy cardstock. I stamped French script in silver ink on the bottom half of the card, and some non SU dragonflies on the top half. (I'm a bit of a dragonfly freak.)
The main image is my initial, also stamped in bravo burgundy on vanilla. I punched this with a marvy oval punch, and layered it onto a black scallop oval, also a marvy punch. The edges of teh white layer were sponged with bravo burgundy ink. Behind the initial, I used black and burgundy grograin ribbon, and silver cord. On the silver cord I strung some beads, including some silver dragonfly beads.
I thought it still needed something, so I tried some paper piercing in the corners.
I had a lot of fun with this challenge! Thanks Heather!

I like the "Denise-centric" card, lol! The colors really pop and I love the choice of silver for the script!! The paper peircing is perfect here. All around awesome card Denise!
