I saw this in a stamping magazine sometime back and thought I'd copy it. The shadow squares were homemade from rubber scraps, stamped on US white. I punched holes in the tops and bottoms of the squares, tied embroidery floss around them in a bow. Sentiment was stamped and highlighted with a glitter gel pen to give it some sparkle.

Very nice! I like how you used the embroidery floss. I used to do a lot of cross stitch (before I started stamping) and have a lot of floss to use. Your color choices are nice, too. I am going to have to try this out.
I just made this card for my neice's birthday and it looks awesome! Because I am not very skilled with thread, I used the bow stamp from "Sketch It" and stamped a bow in contrasting colors, then added a little glitter--it worked well!
