Wow, I love this card! A BIG THANKS for sharing! This would be just perfect for a wedding or anniversary card. Is there a tutorial for this technique? I have a copy of a Faux silk technique, but there's no mention of lumiere... The materials that I have listed for the technique are: tisue paper, liquid glue and dazzling diamonds. Would I just substitute the lumiere for the liquid glue?

No -- I used lumiere resist on the background piece -- It was in the July Stampin' Success - an article called 'Shimmering Success' -- you can either brayer the glossy c/s before or after you sponge on the lumiere. V. easy and fun to do. I think it's also called faux mother-of-pearl. Let me know if you have any more questions.

LOVE THIS CARD. My mother brought it down to show me. What glue is it that you use to do this? Any special kind of tissue paper? It's just beautiful, Linda.

Gorgeous technique. Too bad Lumiere is gone now. :( I never got to use it. Love this set too. Great card. TFS
