Quite some ago, I received a swap card from Cindy Lyles. She had framed her main image, giving a really nice touch to her card. I attemped to do the same thing, although not nearly as well. This is a case of "overdo" on the background shading around the basket. Sometimes it is difficult for me to tell when I have done enough until I have done too much. Have you ever done that?

Oh my yes, I've done that! That's one of the things I try to help my elementary students with in our art classes--knowing when to stop (especially with mixing paints, they like to keep going all the way to "mud"). But back to your lovely card--I really like the way you framed your image! I'll have to try that. Thanks for sharing!

Carole you make me want the Dry Brush wheel for a wood grain effect. I really like your frame also and nope......not too much shading around the basket for me. TFS
