This design was CASE'd from the gorgeous Both Way Card Set that Iris did for the May 06 DD Gallery. This doesn't have the same "wow" factor, but her cards were so elegant I wanted to use the design for a special birthday card for a friend. Instead of using Both Way Blossoms, I used Crystal Effects to coat an actual buttercup that I pressed in the microwave and just stamped a stem. I wanted to experiment with pressing some of my own flowers as embellishments.

No wow factor?? I disagree; this is amazing! I can't believe you used a real flower. It is a beautiful card. The ribbon with the heart adds a vintage look that finishes it off. Gorgeous!

I was just going through your gallery because of a thread you posted on, and I agree with the other comments. How elegant and "WOW" is this card! The ribbon is a marvelous complement to the simple and charming flower, and the charm is the perfect finish. Into the fav's it goes.
