this was the first image I ever tried to soot stamp...I used the wrong sealer, which created the speckling. I thought it made the trees look like it was snowing and filed it under "will use some day", since todays technique lovers challenge was soot stamping, I thought this was the perfect time to dig it out. Consider this a lesson in what not to do. I used a regular clear glaze...don't do it unless you want snow. Since then, I have purchased Krylon crystal clear arcrylic coating and it works perfect. The sentiment is placed to cover another learning opportunity...I got to close to the edge and burnt the paper a little!!!! Have fun - play safe.

Interesting note on the speckling. I had that trouble, too, when I first started out this morning. I discovered that if I used a Krylon Workable Fixative Spray first, then I could spray the Krylon Acrylic Spray without getting speckles. Great card. I like the way you did the peace in vellum off to the side.
