Divamom, is this the double resist (named by Beate) that was featured in the last issue of Scrap & Stamp? I am so wanting to try that technique. Your card is just beautiful by the way. Love your use of fibers.

Oh I am so glad everyone likes this card! The colors are even more beautiful in person. I couldn't believe how it turned out!!! Now to answer questions. 1) I love this stamp set. It is so wonderful and versatile. You will all love it! 2) Yes, this is the double resist technique that was featured in the last Scrap & Stamp. Actually, the card I posted only uses one resist, since I couldn't figure out how to dry the first resist image adequately to make the second one work.
The basic idea is that you clear emboss images on a piece of matte or buffered white/vanilla cardstock. Then you sponge color over the entire piece of cardstock, creating a fun color background. Cathie Allan (the author of the article) uses this cool stylus with foam tips (from Clearsnap) to do this, but I just used a sponge. I used regular dye ink. Wipe off the ink from the clear embossing, then cover the cardstock with another piece of regular cardstock and iron it until the clear embossing melts onto the second piece of cardstock. Then you can color the resist images with chalk (I did that to the flowers), mat and embellish.
Now - with the piece you ironed the resist onto, you pass a drying powder over it (don't know what a drying powder is), clear emboss more images over the ones already on it, and sponge color over the whole thing. Both images will resist, one being more stark than the other. Finish with ironing again, and you have a truly beautiful piece of artwork. For more precise instructions, pick up the November 2004 issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts.
Glad everyone likes this. I just LOVE this technique!!!
