This is for a male teen in my church that is getting baptized. Is is masculine enough? Lose the ribbon? I brayered close to cocoa on glossy cs and then stamped ballet blue & white over it that's why everything is muted. TFL!

I think it is beautiful but I would put hemp or twine instead of the ribbon and maybe burnish the edges with close to cocoa or you could even add some metal embellishments. But you can disregard all my suggestions because the card is great just the way it is.

I too agree with the hemp/twine vs. the ribbon...otherwise it is a very nice card...a metal embellishment or two might make it more masculine as well...tfs!

so gorgeous! I love the dots under the faith... I think I'm gonna use that idea! actually I love everything about this card. I love the card the way it is... but it would be cool to see a version with metal embellishments and hemp.

Thanks for everyone's help and sharing your great ideas!
I should hv thought of hemp or twine (duh) too but I guess I was concentrating too hard on tying in the little bits of white ink. Gonna change it up a bit! TFS

I think it is lovely. You obviously carefully thought it out as to how you muted the colors, and it turned out beautifully. I have a teenage son, and I would agree to change the white ribbon. Your choice - hemp, twine, brad, button, hardware.....just something a little more manly in my opinion.
