Not plain at all! I like it a lot!
I might give them the options of using Very Vanilla as c/s for Wild Rose stamp. I used these very same papers on my tin yesterday- but haven't yet decided what to use as embellishment - CARDS stamped with Headline Alpha (which would cover up the lovely paper) or just a Hodgepodge oval with a saying stamped in it... You gave me yet another idea! Thanks!
I had previously used the two sided Spring Flowers paper on a tin - I wonder if it is just a tad heavier than the Recollections 1-sided paper, because after a day the Recollections seems to be warping a little with the humidity here in the NE! I used lots of sticky strip - this is just the paper itself...
TFS!
Nancy

hi nancy~ i sanded the top and sides of the box (to get some of the paint off, and used mod podge for the paper.
Sand the box with heavy duty sanding paper (the grittier the better).
Apply the mod podge with a sponge brush and line up the paper, then slowly smooth over the sides. Because the paper is thin, it's okay if it overlapps. the only part of mine that warped was on the inside, and that's because the card stock is thicker.. So, on the second one I did, i used sticky strip for that inside part and for the ribbon.
I'm from the NE too, so i Totally understand the humidity problem! =)
