Such a wonderful gallery from the Featured Stamper this week, Linda - aka Wild Cow - keyword FS902.
I chose Birthday Dots & Bow by Wild Cow at Splitcoaststampers to case for the Challenge because it had never occurred to me to brayer color onto the back of these foiled vellum papers - and I needed to give it a try!
I rather like the uneven effect of the sentiment ink drying on the vellum. I simply added a bit of vellum adhesive to the back of each gold dot, and this was a fast project to layer. So check off another Christmas card!

I am both intrigued and impressed that you colored that bg paper. Beautiful ink coverage over the vellum and the effect of the sentiment tied with ribbon through the center gives this card the look of an elegant gift.

So great you could use some older stash, Gayle. Love the idea of brayering ink on velum - I may have to dig out some velum. Lovely Christmas card/case. Hugz

I like that you changed this to a Christmas card, very pretty. Cool idea to brayer the vellum. I have this same paper, hope I remember this idea!! Great case.
