This card is inspired by the stationary the store carries on its website.
I really like the techniques used to create this card and I want to explore them further.
I started by taking a piece of cardstock and spraying it with green and yellow distress oxide spray. Once it dried, I debossed the images using the Cricut. Then, I used Ranger black ink to cover the card by using a brayer and ink pad smudging, leaving the debossed images to stand out. I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not. I then covered the card with distress glaze to lock in the ink.
I added some translucent Nuvo Dream drops in yellow on the flowers and green on the leaves. It's very subtle, but they are there. Finally, I printed a sentiment to finish off the card.
Thanks for looking.
