I combined the two challenges as I only had a free afternoon, first time in my craft room since nice the end of March,
I enjoyed both challenges, on the stencil I used chalks, Iâve probably had them for fifteen years and never used them as I didnât know how to seal the chalk, I spread some gel over the pattern, not sure even what the gel is really used for as I bought it with some Acrylic paints years ago, itâs dried lovely and shiny!
I spent an hour trying the Zentangle , itâs a first for me but I enjoyed it , my lines are not quite straight but I did manage to make a pattern!
I did add some glitter on the dots on the pattern although it doesnât show in the photo and the flowers are blue foil.

The white tangling looks great. And I like your stencil rubbing - I can see that writing for an underwater scene. A spray fixative is what I have always used with chalk pastels, but I believe hair spray will do the job.

Very creative card, Jan
I love the zen tangle in white. It has a lacy doily effect and
the leaves in it are a great addition. The chalk impression reminds me of blue Delph China effect. Lovely card of mixed techniques.
