I was inspired by our Featured Stamper to again do the technique she used for her beautiful balloon card. Thank you JosannaP for the inspiration. Beautiful Balloons One Sheet Wonder by JosannaP at Splitcoaststampers
This week our Alpha location is V. It reminded me of Virginia City, Nevada. We visited there several years ago, probably over 20, when our son lived in Carson City. He took us all over the area. We visited Lake Tahoe. But we also drove up to see the historical
Virginia City. People from all over the world came to mine silver and gold. "Millions of dollars in gold and silver were pulled from the shafts and tunnels 3000 feet below the city." (Virginia City website) The cemeteries were really interesting; to read the monuments and where all of the people were from. Virginia City was also known as the city near the Cartwrights who lived on the Ponderosa ranch on the TV series, Bonanza.
Thanks for looking.

Sharon I’ve always wanted to go to Carson City as Bonaza was my favourite show, I’ve loved Cowboy films ever since, love all the elements on your card, our eldest son always wore cowboy boots and had quite a collection, until he got married!

What a fun western themed set of cards, Sharon. When our girls were little - youngest basically a toddler - we heard they were closing the Ponderosa that you could tour so we took the girls to see it before they ended tours. It was a bit of a drive and long ago so neither girl remembers that trip but we have photos! I really like your cards.
