I like the technique that went into making this card, as I used a couple of new elements I have never tried before. The rooster is debossed using the Cricut, a first for me. It looked pretty cool, but it wasn't much yet until I used a brayer on it (another first for me), which really brought out the debossing.
I then added some questionable ribbon and went looking for a sentiment. I printed out my sentiment a bunch of times in case I made a mistake cutting them out. I placed one on the card, and it was okay, but then I remembered what being with a rooster is REALLY like. So I added all the others, lol.
Hopefully this will make Jen smile.
Thanks for looking.

This will totally make her smile, Brian. Fun chicken and super cool techniques. Debossing sound interesting. I have never learned to do a brayer correctly, so I am impressed. Hugz

Great BG Brian, with your chicken it reminded me what it was like in the summer with the windows open and my neighbor's rooster crowing in the morning. super great colors.

Great card! I love your colorful rooster, and all the "Rise and Shine" sentiments made me grin. I haven't used a brayer in years -- I should pull mine out again soon.

Beautifully debossed rooster over that colorful background, and yes, he will be persistent at his job. And I like how you framed the two corners with the yellow polka dot ribbon.

Well, this noisy guy would certainly rouse anyone. Using ALL those sentiments you cut was brilliant because that is what a rooster would be like. Love the bright rainbow colors and great job with the brayer. I predict more brayer action from you in the future. Fun card and I bet Jen will agree.
