Layers of ink
I love to make my own notebooks and sketchbooks. They are also great gifts. This notebook is 5x6 in. I stamped a dragonfly image on the cover and colored it with pencils.
Fold the paper in half and stamp the main image. Color the image with pencils. Use the same pencils to color another piece of patterned paper. Die cut the title from that piece. Stamp the dragonfly one more time on Clearly For Art Modeling Film. Cut out. Color with alcohol ink on the back. Heat gently and shape the wings. Be careful not to burn yourself. Apply Stickles to the back of the wings.
Fold notebook paper for the inside of the journal. Make a template and pierce holes through the spine and the insert. Stitch with embroidery floss. Stamp more sentiments and some circles.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
