This card came together easily, very nifty fold. My only confused moment is that I don't see that I needed to score in the middle in the directions but I did see it on the diagram. That's probably a big 'duh' for me. Very helpful, Sabrina, thank you!
A while ago, probably last spring, we painted robins for a WCW. I did two and saved one. It came in handy today because I wanted to use this to honor Sioban: Christmas Red robin by Sioban at Splitcoaststampers
Too cold here for robins in the winter so we celebrate them in spring. The ones around here are singing so loud!
I kept this pretty simple, using some kraft dsp, a busy but rather subtle collage pattern. Decided to keep the two little side panels plain to draw the eye in to the robin. I'm trying to decide if I should embellish at all. I thought about a little Zentangle on those plain sides because I'm obsessed with doing Zentangle lately. I may still do just a little bit...what do you think?
Sioban, your gallery is wonderful...I love your simple cards, focusing on the main image. Have a great FS week!

Oh, I really like that paper. Reminds me of some paper bags I have got goods in in France. And that is a very cute robin. They look all fluffed up and round like that on bike windy days here. I would leave those side panels plain I think, although a narrow strip design rather than filling them could look good.
