I am pleased to post the Color Challenge this week. The colors I selected are: Fresh Freesia, Boho Blue, Soft Seafoam with Spring for dessert. I know some of you have not yet been blessed with spring weather. Others of you are now in your autumn weather. I hope creating with these colors will delight you and remind you of what you enjoy about springtime.
For my card, I die-cut a bird from patterned paper and build my card around it. I used my Paper Florist dies for the first time to create the flowers & leaves. The flowers are layered, tipped the petal edges with white ink, added die-cut white & sparkly centers. I was intimated by the Paper Florist die-set, but now that I have used it, I love it!
The green strip was in my bin of scraps. It was embossed with Embossed Brick EF. Not what I would have chosen, but it seemed to work. The blue was embossed with stripes.
The Springtime Greetings sentiment was heat embossed in white and die-cut into a banner.
We hope you will join in and have fun! TFL

So pretty and a great card for Spring, Diane. I like your bird image - I thought you water colored it. So surprised to read it's designer paper. Your new floral dies look great in the challenge colors.

This is such a pretty color combination you've chosen, Diane! I wil have to see what I can come up with to approximate Boho Blue. These blossoms you've surrounded the bluebird with are just lovely and your layout is very attractive. Into my faves!

Fabulous work in cutting the bird from the DP so it replicates what might be the actual shading of the bird, Diane. A pretty card layout too. A lovely spring card.

Delightful spring card with these lovely colors. I like how you showcased the bird as the focal point and added the pretty dies for the design. Job well done. TFS
