That is a wonderful city scape and great tribute to New York...wow, to that being your home town, such a large and iconic home town! I like how you colored the image - love seeing the Statue of Liberty peeking through, and fun sentiment to pair with it.

To answer Jean's question, I grew up on the lower East Side in Stuyvesant Town - 14th Street and 1st Avenue. If anyone comes to NYC, let me know and I will happily be your tour guide! I live about 30 miles north of NYC now.
