This is for the Tea Party for Katelyn who is the niece of Laura. Katelyn loves shabby chic, a style I love to do!
I started out by first selecting my stamp. I then chose this Dp and, as you can see, no stamping on this card at all! I chose 2 different papers from the pack, distressed the edges and sponged with Victorian Velvet DO. I then looked through a pack of labels I have had for ages, distressed the edges and inked with the VV ink, too. Added the quote, also from the paper pack, and attached to the tag. Found tiny piece of pink lace and added the pearl. Die cut all the little butterflies and added the yellow pearls.

The intricate designs on your butterflies really caught my eye as did your clever idea to add that lovely lace to your tag! Katelyn will be delighted when she opens your beautiful shabby chic card!

Beautiful card creatively done with the pretty DP and the die cut lacy butterflies, Sue. It has a lovely shabby chic feeling. The sentiment of encouragement is wonderful.

I love your shabby chic card and the beautiful paper you used. The different shapes of butterflies are so pretty and I like your sentiment on the tag with the lace. Sure to be a card the recipient will love.

I'm not exactly sure which adjective to use because this card fits the bill in so many ways: pretty, beautiful, lighthearted, uplifting, Spring-ey, lovely, fabulous. You know I love butterflies and quotes like these are why I think they are such powerful reminders of our resilience and ability to persevere and change. Perfect message for Katelyn. Fantastic card.
