I don't have a lot of embossing powder, but I wanted to try if this works with pigment powder or brusho.
Here's the result, the gold pigment worked perfectly but when I've added the brusho and pressed with my fingers the white had already a bit of color, so once heat embossed I took a brush and water, and went over the tape, that's how I've colored the bg, only the gold stuck to the tape, I've colored the girl with pencils and markers added the little hearts and sentiment and doodled a bit , finally it's a happy and colorful birthday card

Very cool effect. I love that you experimented with what you have and got a whole different look. I also love seeing these Janet Klein images popping up. They are so fun.
