Kia has found us a video that shows how this artist does loose water coloring. I made it a generous size 8x10. I sketched, painted, and had fun. I could not for the life of me get the top shadows as she did. Come and join us this week and show us your loose painting. TFL

Love the shapes of your tulips and the leaves are so pretty and curvy.

Beautiful job on the highlights and shadows on those flower heads. I love the "sage-y" color of the leaves with the blue undertones. You even got the final dark toned center (which I totally forgot) on the tulips which adds a lot of depth.

Your 8x10 is worthy of a frame, dear Linda. It doesn’t matter that you couldn’t duplicate her shadows at the top because you made your own and they look fantastic to me. Beautiful.
