For this week's Teapot Tuesday, we're using common idioms, or expressions of speech, as our inspiration. I decided to use fat cat. Fat Cat is generally a reference to someone who is a rich political donor, according to Wikipedia (I just checked). However, I've always had big, fluffy orange cats that could be described as fat cats, and I've always thought they have a pretty good life, so I made a little tribute to that kind of fat cat life. I used patterned paper for the walls and floor and die-cut a textured rug from an embossed piece of cardstock. I gave the cat a ball of yarn to play with by wrapping some baker's twine into a tiny ball. Sentiment is computer-generated.

The textured rug is a great addition to your living room scene and something I would never have thought of doing . . . . The yarn ball is great not only for the texture but also the pop of color it adds. Your Fat Cat like most looks to be living a pampered life.

Forgot this little saying. I too like the little ball of yarn.

Adorable card! I really like the way you colored your fat cat, and creating a ball of yarn with baker's twine was very creative. I, too, have a fat cat (black instead of orange), and he leads a very good life. Thanks for sharing!

Oh Yes - I have two of these “fat cats” snoozing away up on my bed at the moment. Perhaps I should go and annoy them by running up and down the hallway like they do at night - keeping me away - giggle. A lovely card of a fat cat enjoying his/her life.
