This is for today's Featured Stamper, happy-stamper, Sherri. Congratulations, Sherri! I enjoyed gallery gazing and couldn't decide between two of your cards so my case is kind of a combination of them. First is this beauty: embossing reveal butterflies by happy-stamper at Splitcoaststampers from which I took the white embossed background panel and lots of bright colors. Second is this beauty: rainbow with pencils by happy-stamper at Splitcoaststampers from which I took the rainbow color palette and the thin black mat of the focal panel. That was my wonderful inspiration.
I decided a rainbow of birthday candles was in order which involved masking so that my candles could cross and overlap. After getting them done, I added the sentiment and heat embossed it and then matted the panel with a black mat to make it pop.
For my background panel, I dry embossed it with the Confetti ef for a fun, celebratory background. It was hard to select a color for the card base but I decided on yellow for a bright, cheery look.
Excellent choice, Nancy, thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Catherine, this is so happy and festive and fun. Some great colors and stenciling and embossing. It all combines to make a fabulous birthday card. Hugz

Awesome CASE and I love the way you took inspiration from both cards to create this wonderful birthday greeting. Love those big candles (are they SU or MFT or ???) and your masking is superb. Having them a bit akimbo makes this look all the more fun. Love the white embossed panel and I think the yellow base was the best choice -- so happy and playful. Fabulous card.
