This started with a piece of leftover drybrush 2nd generation paper - I had just grabbed a piece of Very Vanilla and made a 2nd generation stamping of the background that I did for my Shaker card. It had the outlined of where the hearts were cut out for the shaker parts and the edges were darker because of the shape of the shaker card base. It wasn't as red as the original card, which I really liked, cuz I thought that was too red. I thought the whole thing was cool, and I couldn't bare to cut down to smaller size, so I made it just a bit bigger card.
I continued the leftover theme and used up a bunch of leftover hearts from that same shaker card.
I stamped the heart from the Jan 21 Paper Pumpkin and punched it with the Heart punch, layering that on a scalloped Real Red heart punch. The image is bigger than the punch, but I thought it would work great.
Then sentiment is from the same Paper Pumpkin, die cut with mini pocket envelope dies and edges flicked with black ink.

Cool background and I really like all the hearts. Super pretty Valentine!
