I found this set of old buttons from 2019 in my stash and thought to make a clean and simple valentines card. I think it is non traditional because of all the buttons.

So cute! I have jars full of buttons I bought especially to use on cards - then never actually used them - You inspire me to at least put them where I see them so "Maybe" a few will end up on cards! Right into my fav's.

I guess I have always loved buttons ever since I was a child and entertained myself with my Grandmother's button jar for hours. If they did not require extra postage on cards, I would use more buttons I have in my button collection. (side note--my grandmother passed before my grandfather, and the only evidence left after he died was the button jar itself with no buttons in it. I guess he had thrown them out and saved the jar when she died.)

OMG, I love, love, love this so much! Oh how I have a ton of buttons and need to use them up but alas I have not added them yet to my tote of items. I hope to get that tote closer to empty so I can look through my craft stash and add more items to it. The buttons may be on that list of items I add. This is just amazing.
