Die-cut the lantern out of the matte gold CS, and then out of scrap white CS twice; layered them to give the lantern some dimension. Inked along the white edges with the gold metallic marker. Blended Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin distress inks onto white CS scraps, and cut to fit behind the open area of the lantern. Die-cut the bow (isn't that just the cutest little bow ever?!?!!) from the red mirror CS and adhered to the top of the lantern.
Embossed white CS with the EF. Smooshed the Iced Spruce and Forest Moss inks onto a craft sheet and spritzed with water. Fingerpainted with the inks onto the raised pine bough, as well as making a mess around it! Splattered some of the watered-down ink with a paintbrush onto the CS.
Stamped the greeting with Tuxedo Black ink. Layered the pine bough panel onto matte gold CS and onto the card front. Adhered the lantern to look like it's attached to the pine bough. TFL!

I love how warm and inviting this card is! Your lantern shines out beautifully. I really like the way you did the background around your pine boughs too. Terrific!
