I finally had a play to do TLC challenge 985 basically following the directions in the video, it was a lot of fun. My brayer hadn't been inky in a while and was long overdue. I brayered, sprayed it with distress mica spray, then cut it into pieces, put it back together and stamped, stenciled, and added texture paste with some glitter.
Once it was dry, I decided on my layouts for the four cards. For the Balmy Blue card base, I added Orchid Oasis ink direct to paper to create a matting layer for my focal panel. I simply stamped the sentiment on the base and that card was finished.
For the card on the upper right, I stamped some tone on tone on the base for some texture, added a dry embossed Balmy Blue panel. I edged the focal panel with Gorgeous Grape, heat embossed the sentiment and punched it with the Word Window punch.
For the Highland Heather card on the lower left, I simply matted the focal layer with silver mirror, added a vertical panel edged with silver mirror, and heat embossed the sentiment and punched it with the Word Window punch.
For the Mint Macaron card base, I added stitched triangles in the corners, sponged around the edges of the focal panel, stamped the sentiment and punched it with the small oval punch. The sentiments are popped up with foam tape.
Thanks for the challenge, Jean, and thanks for looking!
