Stacy gave us a wonderful folk art site today with quilting, fabrics and wool. As a young girl I raised sheep, so they have been a favorite of mine to paint. I took a picture from a magazine and outlined the lamb softly with a pencil and then erased most of the lines. Used my light box to do this. You can use a window too. Didn't add a sentiment yet. I will keep it in my stash for the right time to use it. TFL

Beautiful job on your sweet sheep Linda - I want to reach out and touch his fur (do sheep have fur or hair??!!) Wonderful landscape for her to lay on as well!

I love that you painted this lamb and the colors turned out so cool. I think white is such a hard thing to paint on a whole so, the depth it has is fabulous Linda

Oh my goodness, Linda, this is beyond gorgeous. Your water coloring skills amaze me. This darling lamb looks so peaceful with your beautiful pastel background. Your splattering is a lovely touch.

This is so very special! Another fabulous work of your endless talent, Linda!
Your sweet lamb evokes a precious memory of me coming home in Daddy's car cuddling a lamb in the back seat. The lamb jumped up to follow me, so my uncle scooted him in farther & closed my door!
