Since Karen's card was for a sketch challenge, I did not cut up or use the layout, but I did include a bunch of pine trees and a single sentiment like Karen did. I left off the sun, added some shadowy trees in the background, and watercolored instead of stamped my trees. She had a pretty snow effect on her trees from masking, so I added some Snowtex which I just flecked on with a stiff brush.
Thanks for the inspiration, Karen. Enjoy your week!

A lot of inspiration coming from this card, and every creation a unique and inspired beauty. I love the trees you designed, Nancy, and I just swoon at your beautifully textured snow.

Wow that scene looks really wintry - great texture and feel. So glad it isn't like that today as our hot water and heating boiler is awaiting a part! Did get a little warmth though - your lovely glowing lights card just arrived - thank you

Especially love the shadowy trees which give such great depth and of course the falling snow is a great touch!
