This is a shadow box card. At least that is what I call it. This is a card we will be doing in my July workshops. I received this as a swap at the Holland, MI seminar. Thank you, you know who you are!
Here are the directions:
Shadow Box:
Use printer paper and cut 10 1/2 by 8 1/2
score lightly around each side 1 3/4
score again on long ends in another 1 3/4 from your first scored line
Take one long end and fold to the other side (to the inside scored line
Flip over and fold the corners in a triangler pattern
Do the same on the other side
Open up completely and you will see points in the middle on both sides, fold these in towards the middle of the card
the side flaps will begin to take shape and will be folded over
unfold one side and fold the square and triangle you see at the top and bottom towards the middle then fold the flap over
Do this on the other side as well and you will have the shadow box
I am sorry if this is confusing but it is even hard to demonstrate when it is right in front of people.
Happy trying!
