I have a pretty massive one sheet wonder project going on involving 6 12x12 sheets from an old Park Lane paper slab, 4 sheets of bright colors and two of more masculine colors. The goal is a big pile of birthday cards for my seniors. It happens that these cards I finished today fit the Friday challenge theme as well.
Massive thanks to Patsy Waggoner for this inspiration.
These cards are using the C and D pieces.
The card on the left: I attached the two coordinating pieces of pattern paper to the card front, then attached the die cut with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment (SU Beautiful Balloons) in black ink, and added several light pink gem stickers.
Card on right: I attached the two coordinating pieces of pattern paper to the card front and added a strip of hot pink cardstock between them. On white cardstock, I stamped the medium balloon three times in Sodt Sky, Sweet Sorbet, and Parakeet Party inks, stamping off the Sweet Sorbet one time to lighten it. I die cut the balloons as well as three strings from hot pink cardstock. I glued the strings to the balloons and glued the blue balloon to the card, attaching the other two with foam tape. On a scrap of white cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and stars underneath and cut out. I cut a slightly larger scrap of striped paper and glued the sentiment to it, then attached to the card.
