Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us such a beautiful combination! The colors are Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Polished Pink. The dessert option is "anything goes." My dessert is to use a stencil.
When I'm doing ink blending, I like to use Bristol Smooth paper. It seems to accept the inks and blend them better than on regular cardstock. I attached my paper to the stencil with removable tape, then used blending brushes to apply the three challenge colors. I stamped the greeting with black Distress Oxide ink on white paper, then heat embossed and fussy cut the banner. I popped the greeting up on foam tape, then added a few enamel dots, and the card was done!
These colors are so pretty together, please create some art with them and share your project in the gallery! We'd love to see it!

Stencils are such fun to work with ... I think these soft challenge colors really lend themselves to this delightful stencil! I love the look you achieved!

Love your stencil work, Barbara. So cute and stylish. Great idea for the colors. The embellishments and sentiment strip add just the right touches. Beautiful card!

That's a wonderful and interesting stencil! I really like the way you added the dots - a few, just enough!!

What a beautiful depiction of the colours, this week, Barbara. You are a pro. I love all those white masks of plants and planters in those ultra cheery colour bands. A beautiful plant cabinet.
