So here is my story: I couldn't get anyplace to pick up a wooden hoop...well actually I chose not to. The stores are not very close to me so I need to have a real strong need to drive there, meaning I need to do some shopping at other stores, like Aldi or Walmart or others. So I thought 'what do I have that would suffice?' Eureka, I remembered that I had a cross stitch die and it was the perfect size. Wow, I'm so smart! So this is completely made of paper. Heat embossed the coffee cup and sponged some darker ink over it to make it stand out a bit more. I love that little wood mounted stamp. I cut the hoop out of a scrap of gold metallic marbled paper (thought about doing a woodgrain), adding three more layers of SU crumb cake for stability, added another scrap of dsp that looked a bit like burlap. A few embellishments is all it needed. I love this! It could easily be added to a cardbase.

Wow! Look at that hoop...looks so real with the marble paper. Plus, when I saw it I thought you had done some fancy stitching for the background. You are so creative. Love your hot cup of steaming coffee. Squeaking in just in time is still good and glad you did.

You're just so clever!! No embroidery hoop laying around here either, and no wonderful brainstorm either. *wink* You earned the cleverness award today, m'lady!
Wow! This is so pretty. Goodness, I missed out when they came out with embroidery hoop dies! Loads of possibilities with that die! You did such a beautiful job on this! Fantastic!
