Love the watercolor challenge Linda came up with - stamping with leaves and watercolor paints.
I am pretty sure this is a maple leaf (I am no longer leaf savvy). It was red so I painted it up with mostly red watercolor and slapped it on the paper (couldn't find the watercolor paper again so it is on cheep white cardstock - would have been much better on watercolor paper). It didn't seem interesting enough so I added some Stickles. Then I added more Stickles. It reminded me of Christmas so that is how a maple leaf evolved into a Christmas card.
Thanks for the inspiration, Linda - this was so fun I made three cards.

Nancy, at first I thought you had used an actual poinsettia leaf. Glad I read descriptions. Makes a wonderful and festive Christmas card with the color and added Stickles.

Nancy, how wonderful you could make a Christmas card from your leaf. I love the idea of the Stickles for the pretty leaf helping to make it even more of a Christmas card.
