A card for Vera, a 103 year old lady in a nursing home, for this week's MMTPT795. The challenge asks us to use gold. I used die cut embellishments and small round gems in gold. I dry embossed the front flap of thr card base with an old ef. I hope Vera enjoys this bright card.

So pretty. I love your pansy panels. A friend's father's favourite flower was pansies and for years after the father's passing, this friend would often find a single pansy growing along a footpath, field, or other random spots. They became a source of comfort to my friend.

Beautiful card, love the floral DSP, and the gold pearls add just the right touch!

That's a great layout with the strips of pansy paper and circle offset over the textured gold underneath it. And a lovely verse. We used to sing that one a lot when we worked with the choir in a Francophone African church here.

fabulous sentiment - I have to get some religious stamps... this card is beautiful - the DS papers remind me of the 'olden days' when people had actual wall paper like that (one of my aunts had something similiar to that in her guest room).. Thank you.
