CC969 - A Path to the Wild Lagoon, desert a border
I had this all written up & did not hit submit! YIKES!! So here I go again! The only color I had this week was Lost Lagoon & that is my border layer. I thought Tip Top Taupe looked like the Pebbled Path & I added a neutral layer of Smokey Slate that I found already embossed with the Subtle ef. I used More Mustard ink as I thought it looked like Wild Wheat. Only the sentiment is full strength. I stamped the wheat, starting off the paper & continued to stamp off, hoping for a breezy look. I die cut the Lagoon for the border panel & then put this together. I also stamped off a matching envie.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your stamping of the wheat is sensational. I love the light, airy feel you achieved. Your color substitutions are spot on. They really coordinate beautifully here and your embossed layer adds both texture and interest. I think these colors are so serene and perfect for this type of "thinking of you" card. Beautiful job.

Your wheat definitely looks wind blown, MF. Great job with stamping it off...love the look. You've used these colors so well, even adding an embossed panel~♥♥♥
